Criticism please! This is my new 24gal with live and dry rocks-(which are a bit big so I used for the base)

I like it. There are so many variances in opinions on types of aquascapes. Personally I like bommies--piles of rocks. So many are going for NSA. NSA is time consuming to build and doesn't have nearly as much inner rock surface area for denitrifying bacteria to colonize.

If you're happy with it, run it. You're the one who has to look at it all day and enjoy it. Who cares what someone on the forum says. Sure there may be some helpful suggestions (such as making sure you have caves/hiding spots/rocks away from the glass so you can clean easily and the such), but if you're happy with the way it looks go for it.

It'll look quite different once you get some corals and other colours in there anyhow !

Ps. Welcome!

Agree with making it something you would enjoy looking at everyday. Thats what i did with mine and i wouldnt want it any other way. Congrats on the build and if your going to change or maybe feel as if its not quite how you like ut do it sooner than later. But imo it looks good i spent weeks on mine before i got it just right. Something i was proud of and that i could look at everyday and not get bored. I still find little holes and places i didnt realize i had when establishing it in the beginning.

Nsa is balanced with amount of rock...

Or better, same amount or rock will have same amount of surface area, no matter how u arrange it.....

Do what u like, there is no right or wrong here....
