Have something strange growing on frag I bought the other day. Anyone have an idea what it is?

I would pull them off. They tend to come off pretty easily and I would start there.

Don't pop the bubbles, and don't leave them where they are.

Had some Valonia on a zoa frag, removed them a week ago ... the zoas still haven't opened up. Ditto hair algae on another zoa colony - and pulling the algae pulled a half-dozen zoas!

I would remove the corals from the tank into a small bowl of water. Pull off all the algae and rinse really well in the water. Then do a dip in another bowl of water with coral rx, lugols, or peroxide before returning to tank.
