I currently RUN a TUNZE ATO Oscillator and a Eshopps ATO 5 gallon Container with float switch. I am trying to figure out of I need to buy an extra peristaltic pump or can I use the 3155 TUNZE ATO pump that comes with the Osmolator ATO package and run it to my Eshopps Doser? Does anybody own one of these Kalk Stirrer's from Avast if so, please advise how this gets hooked up? Note that AVAST KALK stirrers are non-pressurized chambers; water enters through a 1/4" John Guest fitting in the lid and gravity drains out into your sump through the 1/2" union barb fitting. I read the manual but I am still having problems setting this up. Could I use my Eshoops IV MATSER dosing pump with a Slave or do I NEED to buy an extra peristaltic pump?

If I do have to buy an extra peristaltic pump here are my two choices that I have narrowed it down to. Which one would you go with? Avast peristaltic pump $120.00 or the Basic LiterMeter Dosing Pump $119.00

You should not have to run a peristaltic pump at all unless your ATO container is remote. I ran my Avast Kalk stirrer using the Osmolator ATO pump for a while before I went to a remote ATO container and peristaltic pump. I would slow down the flow on the Osmolator just in case to keep from dumping the kalk too fast but that might not even be an issue.

Just hook up your ATO water line (which would normally feed your tank) to the JG fitting. That will push water into the kalk stirrer, which will in turn push the saturated kalk water into your tank (through the barbed fitting on the Avast stirrer). There are reasons to not do this, particularily if your tank has demands far less than what will be provided through dosing a full days evaporation worth of KW into your tank. This is why some people will run a seperate dosing pump, and only push the amount of water through the KW stirrer that they need to supplement the tank.

Care to share a pix on how you have it set up with your TUNZE Osmolator PUMP FROM YOUR ATO?? I HAVE MY TUNZE Osmolator PUMP sitting in my Eshoops 5 gallon ATO Storage container.

I would be happy to share pictures but I do not run the osmolator anymore. I now have a remote ato reservoir and pull water through about 75' of tubing with a litermeter pump then to the reactor. In either case the ato pump will go in line before the reactor and the output of the pump will connect to the push connect fitting on top.

Still having issues on when HOOKING THIS kalk stirrer up! The only thin that I am gett is bubbles in the kalk stir so I must be doing something wrong.
I set up my doser where you installed two tubes for each side of the dosing pump. One side that in my ATO water Storage and the other line it connects to my out of my dosing pump and that is connected to the 1/4 kalk stirrer inlet . The only think i get is bubbles in the reactor and that's it. I can't get it to draw water out of kalk REACTOR USING THE BLACK 1/4 RO tubing. I KNOW my doser works fine b/c I dose A&B TWICE A DAY.

It may take a while to purge all of the air out of the lines. I would let the pump run for a few minutes and see what happens.

I just bought a peristaltic pump from BRS , the 50ML/per minute! I am going to have the pump hooked into my PC3 KILLA-WATTS TIMER! My evaporation is 24 hrs is 1.59 gallons of water.
Per Avast Chart I need to 1.5 cups of Kalk to my stirrer bi weekly!
