Hi,

please help choosing the aquascape for my new waterbox 35.2. Planning to have sps dominated (with some lps) reef tank.
Do not hesitate to tell me if all of it is crap :) as long as you suggest how to do better.
Thanks.

My best advice.. whatever pleases your eye and provides a proper habitat for your fish.

That said, make sure you leave enough room for both your hand, AND your scraper tool to be able to clean off the algae. A magnet scraper will do most of the work, but you WILL need to get hands on with some of it. if you cant get in there with a scraper at an angle where the scraper actually works.. well you can see where i am going here...

Is the cardboard the size of the tank? Like height-wise? I would try to keep six inches or so open above the scape to allow sps to grow into colonies. That being said- I like the first one as long as the too of the rock isnt super tall.

Thanks so much folks. Really appreciate your help and recommendations

Most of my tanks are cubes so may be able to offer some esoteric insight. Pay attention to the depth of your scape just as much as width… it sounds obvious but easy to over look. How do those scapes look from the side? For those reasons I would lean towards the 4th for no other reason than it looks more 3D
