Nero 5 Problem

Hi everyone. I have a nero 5 that suddenly stopped working today. I noticed when it was alternating a red light with a blue ring. I unplugged it and it tries spinning but won't go and after 3 tries goes back to the same blinking lights. Anyone help???

Anything stuck in the propellers?

Happened to mine, a snail jammed it up.

That was indeed it, opened it up and it wouldn't spin with my hand pushing the prop. A nice cleaning and it is running like new! Wasn't a snail for me though, still not sure what was causing the jam.

Periodically you should clean the propeller inside of the housing casing as there can be a buildup of calcium, etc. There are 4 holes in the propeller that need to be open and unclogged. Ai recommends that you use a 1: 1 white vinegar/water solution to clean the propeller if necessary.

That is what I did to get it working again, worked very well and quickly!
