Nero3 connectivity issue

Hello all, looking to get some pointers on fixing an issue im having with my nero 3. It started after I removed the device from one tank in the MyAi app. After removing, the device no longer shows up with adding a device with the "+" icon. I've tried resetting all Bluetooth settings on my phone, tried another phone, factory reset the pump following ai steps to do so, tried adding the pump under a new tank...not sure what else to try? When plugging the device in the controller flashes green then flashes red and then turns off and does nothing. Ive also tried using Mobius but its the same

Are you able to do a hard reset on the Nero 3?

@Rocks reef By hard reset do you mean this?

"To factory reset an AquaIllumination Nero 3 pump, unplug it for 30 seconds, then press and hold the controller button while reconnecting power. Release the button as soon as the indicator light begins flashing red"

This did not work / do anything to fix the issue. AI is suggesting I RMA it but its out of warranty so chances are the repair cost they quote me will result in me telling them to recycle it. Guess I can hope for the best and just send it in
