My blue hippo and my lemon peel angel were fluttering up against eachother tonight while i cleaned my sump. What would they be doing? They are about same size and have been together for a couple months never caught them doing that before. Also they always hang our together.

Social dominance, making themselves look big and fending of the other.

I have a magnificent foxface and yellow scopas that are best buddies all day long but begin to square up when the lights go down. They are simply asserting their dominance to get the best night time refuge. The scopas always wins.
