I am also waiting on Tunze tubing and once here I am going to setup the 3171 carx. I am at almost 25ml esv 1&2 twice a day to maintain an alk of 7. Im going with the small carx and my 6" will be used if needed later on.

I am thinking about setting my CaRX back up, as I am at a little over 200ml a day of brightwell alk/cal (they dose in equal amounts) in the 180.

Not really wanting to, as this has been working well for the past 2 years. Just the cost is getting a little nuts. So going to do a kalk drip throughout the day, but have to watch that, as my PH already sits between 8.2 and 8.3. No Co2 scrubber and only an airline outside (which I will not remove).

Reef life is hard lol.

You are better than me. If I had to dose by hand, I would forget lol.

Already planning how to get the doser setup for the biocube 32 lol.

My tank, set up in January, sucked up neophos daily until just this last week! Except I had pale corals until I finally found the dose that would allow po4 to register 24 hours later. I'm slowly backing down my dose now, can't wait to not have to test po4 every other day. Was dosing 12 ml of neophos/day for months, now I'm sitting right at .05 with 4 ml/day. Excited to see how this tank turns out as it grows.

Yesterday po4 was .074 so I will test again in a few minutes as it will be 12hrs from last dose.
Just tested and it was .052.
I will test again at 24hrs and adjust po4 dosing. No dose this morning.
It took a couple weeks to get this up from a zero.

Po4 holding at .05 with 4ml po4 add in the morning.
All the stringy algae is gone.
Carx is holding a dkh of 7 for 2 days now.
Co2 30 bpm
Effluent 80 mlpm
Picked up this 5" green purple tip anemone from a tank breakdown.
Its in the 30g remote fuge. Fuge is running no macro algae and just has sand and rock.

Alk still holding at 7 with 32/80 settings.
The false perculas finally found the anemone. They are captive bred and were both less than an inch when I got them.
They seem much happier now!

My pink floyd colony is finally looking yellow again. It has been 4 months from 120 tear down until the last few days before the yellow came back.
Also note 3 month coralline growth. Its now showing on the back glass too.

What happened to it from the transfer? Brown out? Was anything different or just the move?

Just the shock of the move. The rock it was on had to be broken up to save it and my WD.

It just lost all yellow. The yellow turned green.

WD is comming back also.

Just got my Kamoer fx-stp2 running on my carx.
Tired of adjusting the effluent with the Tunze method.
Tunze Told me not to do it but I dont see an issue except stability.

I am going to turn on co2 today. Was dosing 20ml esv 2x a day to keep an alk of 7, my target.

I moved my Radions. They have a slight overlap now and I will be focusing on them. The 16hds are on each end.
I like this color but its only been a few days under this setting.
If I cant get the color I want then I will do a g6 upgrade and run the pros.

Just got the other 2 xr15's hung a few minutes ago.
Running first 4 channels 100%
Last 4 channels 50%
Schedule is at 50%
Will run with the 4 for a couple months then I will be looking at some of the higher end more colorfull corals.

I did frag my pink floyd once it got yellow and kept a few frags I am going to growout again.
