Hahaha smells like what!?Do you pinch your air line at all? What do you find best at 4.5"?
I get a very wet, but very dark skimate at 7". If if it gets too full, my basement starts to smell like a wet fart. I have to take the collection cup outside and hose it off. Not worth cleaning it inside haha.
Go grab a 6-12 pack of a nice IPA. Stop by Chipotle. Chinese is acceptable too.Hahaha smells like what!?
Mine is the 9430dc so it allows me to run the pump at 50-75%.Do you pinch your air line at all? What do you find best at 4.5"?

Ahhh gotcha. Didn't realize you had DC. That changes things. I run a shallow sump, which is why I went with the Tunze. I never really considered playing around with it'd depth, but I might as well experiment a little. Mine fills up in about 5-7 days.Mine is the 9430dc so it allows me to run the pump at 50-75%.
On your 9415 it will allow you to run more air which will allow you to get even darker skim and twice as much per day if you want.
On mine at 6" depth I could only run 10% and got about 300ml of skim every 4-5 days. At 4.5" depth I can pull 300ml a day running the pump/air at a higher rate.
I would describe it as wet farty.Looks dark and chunky your doing something right
I also want that saw, looks great for wet cuts. I bought a nice dremel to see if that will fill the void till I can budget for the saw.My Xr15 blue with mount will be here this week.
I will be running 2 Xr15's and 2 16hd's on this system.
In the above pic you can see where the 16's light line stretches into the other side. Should get nice crossover with the other 16 going the other way. This should negate a shadow from the center support.
Also have 2 white light shades comming this week for the 15's. I picked white to offset all the black on my system.
The glare was annoying sitting on the couch. The 16's do not have alot of glare.
After all my lights are up and running I am going to borrow my friends par meter to get them dialed in.
Next on puchase list is;
Par meter
Gryphon saw
I have looked at other cheaper ones but this one is a much better option. Whats another $500 anyway, lol.I also want that saw, looks great for wet cuts. I bought a nice dremel to see if that will fill the void till I can budget for the saw.
Better to spend money on the right tool then waste money on trying other ones right!I have looked at other cheaper ones but this one is a much better option. Whats another $500 anyway, lol.
