I'm really considering a C-Vue 40 gallon (or maybe a 26 gallon) and then just get my own stand from Petco. The C-Vue 40 gallon should fit a 40 breeder tank stand I think.

One challenge with some AIOs is all the equipment sticking up in the back, you have the protein skimmer sticking up looking like Seattle's Space Needle. That always bugged me, a nice advantage of the Red Sea Max is the cover that hides everything.

It can be a space challenge for some tanks with the ATO container + dosing container + power bricks + computers, etc. If you need everything to fit into one cabinet, it's easier with the Red Sea Max than some of the other designs. Biggest negative to me on the Red Sea is the large overflow in the middle.

75.2 waterbox -$1708
$1349 tank and stand and sump
$359 photon 16
still would need sump equipment

The 75.2 is the old model, being replaced by the 70.2. The 70.2 is actually larger than the 75.2, I believe they're being a bit more honest about volume. The newer models have better sumps + plumbing if 24x24x22 works for you.
