I am having to replace my Apex base unit. Question, do I have to back up the old unit to keep all of my software and programs? Unit is supposed to be here today and I don’t want to re-program all of my modules and hardware. Thanks

I believe the answer is yes.

However your old one must be in good order. My old base unit got fried in the ice storm with multiple power surges. I spend a day and 1/2 figuring out my 8 year old programing. I wish I had made some sort of backup. Setting up a new one from scratch with many power bars , sensors, etc was not much fun.
