This is my new Biocube 32 after being out, and missing, the hobby for 15 years. There are six Blue legged Hermit Craps, a Jawfish (named Rogue), and a Diamond Head Goby (named Sam Wise). Looking forward to building this reef up with corals and a few more fish. I want to thank this community for all the support. A LOT of changes in 15 years!

Following along! Do you have an idea of what fish and corals you want to put in there?

Right now I have a jawfish, diamond head goby, and a cleaner shrimp. Additionally, 5 blue legged hermit crabs.

I am looking for algae eaters right now. I am in the ugly stage lol. I was thinking of getting blue tuxedo sea urchin or spot tail blenny. I might just go with snails. What so you think?

Cool! How do you like it? This is way different than the 150 gallon I had 15 years ago.
I love it but it has gotten a little cramped. Definitely easy to maintain and grows corals well. I have a lps dominant but have a couple sps and some soft corals.

Wow, I just looked at your tank thread! That is an amazing looking reef! I plan on adding some soft and LPS corals eventually. Taking it slow, because my corals experience is novice at best.

Slow and steady wins the race! I’m always here for you to bounce ideas off of.

I appreciate it! After seeing your tank, I may pester you a bit. I was thinking of getting an urchin for algae control and I see you put on in your tank. Is that something you would recommend?

Urchins like to carry corals on their back so just be aware when you start stocking. My friend has fully, well glued corals that somehow ended up traveling the tank with the urchins! She got frustrated and finally gave it away. It was an algae machine and fun to watch from my viewing point! Welcome to all things reef here!

Good Morning. Since you also have a Biocube, I was wondering if you would share your filter setup.
First chamber is my protein skimmer and the third I have a uv. The middle chamber I based on the video I will post.

Thank you. Right now I am using the stock filter. Except I am using my own filter floss, on top of a phosphate filter floss, and then a carbon filter floss under that with a genesis block on the bottom of chamber two. It does not seem adequate to me and was looking to change it.

I use the sponges, Chemipure elite, a bag of activated carbon, ceramic biorings and a handful of rock rubble.
