is it on the rockwork itself? that is very odd for a lta. clowns always try to feed and you can let them do their thing, just dont target feed yet
Not on a rock yet but kinda hanging out not attached yet. This is what it’s doing.

Not yet. It’s currently doing this. It’s only 2 days in the new tank.
Try to dig a little to make a nest for it near what you think is an ideal spot for flow / light. I would try to plant it so to speak , foot should attach to bottom glass and be surrounded by sand. Corners are great for LTA as they feel secure. Don’t mess with it to much , turn off flow for 30 minutes to see if it attaches with help

as

whats the chance of it nuking me? I wanted the bubble tip cause I heard they don’t nuke and they sold me this one saying it won’t nuke even if it dies
Why are you worried about this?

There's nothing in your post to suggest this may be a problem.

Just worry from pass experience. I had a LTA before. It didn’t work out.
I will say. I lowered the flow in my tank. The LTA came out from under a rock and now is sticking out very nicely but I know it’s still gonna wanna move lol.

I am new to BTA I just bought my very first one in a very established 125 gallon tank with two strong canister filters.
I only have two clowns and a very well behaved damsel (thank god)
My BTA was purchased yesterday and by the end of the night he was attached to the side of the glass facing the wrong direction for viewing purposes lol. I have a flow maker inside the tank, but I’m not sure if it’s too strong. It’s about the size of the palm of my hand, but I’m not sure about the brand cause it’s been so long.
But is a decent amount of flow good and also will he stay stuck to the glass forever?
That is not a BTA

That’s not correct. It should have attached itself within a few hours.
The fact they sold a LTA as a BTA is cause for concern.
It’s easy to damage the foot which many times is fatal.
I would have returned it. It looks bleached.
Sorry, but let’s hope for recovery.
If it starts to come apart, discard immediately.

Update. It attached. It was because the flow was too high.
As much as I love the pet store I buy from they kinda do stuff like that all the time they have really good prices but not the best knowledge except for the owner. He’s great.

That's a common theme I have seen. Where the store will have good prices, but either the staff or employees aren't the most knowledgeable

That’s great news!
I appreciate the follow up!
Enjoy.

Once attached, never touch him again.
He may move a few times to find the best spot.

someone recommended clearing a small spot and he jumped right onto the rock and he’s on there so super happy.
The lights just went on in the tank so if he looks a little off that’s why lol.
