I feel dumb, but when I received the CADE tank, there was a box in it that I removed and then forgot about. I found today the acrylic lid that came with it. It ships with a cheap screen top but also this beautiful extremely well made lid with cutouts in all the right places… I had planned on buying one with TopLids, but will cancel my order. I’ve never seen a tank come with a lid of this quality.im loving CADE!

Some updated photos…. Everything has gone shockingly smoothly. I began having a nasty hair algae issue… but brought my pax Bellum reactor online and within days, that was over. Zero algae issues and everything is perfect! I’m scared because something ALWAYS goes wrong at the start.

Everything is still going well. Yesterday, for the first time, I tested out the X2SR Water Change System by kamoer. I wanted to test it out before hard plumbing it into my system. It worked perfectly. I’ll have a 250g container in my attic filled with fresh saltwater. It’ll also be plumbed into the drain. It’ll automatically change around 10 gallons per day to begin. It should keep things FAR more stable than doing a 15% water change every week. It makes my life easier and keeps tank far more stable.
