New corals added- Torch & mushroom

I wanted to get my new corals into my tank quick so I didn't cut them off the plugs just yet...looking for the best spot for them. Can I cut the torch off right where it meets the base and superglue it into a new spot on the rock? Will the mushroom straighten up and can I cut it off or keep some of the plug? I also have a question on how long these guys can be out of the water before it affects them cutting the plug off (dremel most likely). Thanks for helping me out! Love these colors and can't wait for the torch to extend.
