I have one on the other site, but will start one here. Today is the 3 month marrk and the corals are doing well.
I setup my rock work to have mini ledges and open space for corals to fill in and fish to swim around.

Ok, I have been working on the aquascape and have it to a place that I mostly like it. Tell me what you think. I plan on making it wrap around a little more than it does at this point.

I am currently in the process of cementing the rocks together using marcorocks cement. I still need some practice at getting the mixing right but when it finally sets up it holds incredibly well.

Ok, I need everyone's help on a aquascape decision. I'm almost done with it and finally adding water this weekend. So here are pics of the two options I have come up with.
First has just one arch.

The second is exactly the same but has a second arch.

I really like the two arches but the one with only one arch leaves plenty of space for sps to grow out into. Let me know what you all think.

Thank you. I have been working on this build for far too long and can't wait to get it wet. I am seriously leaning toward the two arch version.

Now you've ruined it for me!!! All I am going to see when I look at the tank is the golden arches. Just kidding, I appreciate the feedback.

THE TANK IS FINALLY WET!!!!!!!
Here's a couple of pics with the sand added.

And a shot of the sump with everything running.

The skimmer is making micro bubbles like crazy and I will have to work on that some but i probably just needs to break in.
The overflow is making a ton of noise so i will have to work on adjusting the flow and the gurgle busters.
I also have an almost non-existent leek on one of the drain pipe bulkheads. I might get one drip every hour or two off of it. I am trying to figure out how to get a tool onto it to tighten it just a tad more, but it is hard to get to it. Hopefully I can get all the kinks worked out of it tomorrow after church.

Thanks. Yea I can't wait till it cycles so I can start adding fish. I'm using Fritzzyme 9 to jump start the cycle so hopefully it won't take too long. I see you are from Cocoa, Fl. I lived at Patrick AFB when I was a kid. I miss that place and the ocean alot.

Started my cycle with some raw shrimp and some Fritz Zyme 9. I have the two clownfish and a purple tang waiting for the cycle to finish so I can add them. I also bought a really nice Bubblegum Monster Chalice Colony with 8 eyes from Custom Reef Creations which will be the first coral in the tank.

Ammonia at .5 and no nitrites yet. The waiting is almost painful.

I have a pair of clowns waiting patiently in my qt for the big day. One is a black ice and the other is a tangerine. I have also paid for a purple tang from Custom Reef Creations which I will probably add a week or two after the clowns go in.
