What size tank do you have? I have a sump rated for up to 60 or 70 gallon tank. I got it used when I got my original tank. I think it was missing a few pieces to set it up to run with bio balls but like others have mentioned, filter socks are much better. You could spend that $100 on a pump, filter sock holder & filter socks. If you want it, it is yours and I can ship it to you UPS from here in Lexington, KY. We will call it a gift of congrats for the birth of your boy. Just let me know.
Nice to see stuff like this.

Congrats on the baby boy! Worry about momma and that baby, like others have said the tank should be fine until your back up and running. Are there power heads in the tank, I'm on my phone so I couldn't see the pictures well.
