Hey everyone. Found my wife's Multicolor Lubbocks Fairy Wrasse on TOP of the tank, dead today. Apparently it managed to get through a tiny spot in our lid. Hate that as it was a gorgeous fish.

Before we replace it, is there anything else maybe we should look at? Here's our current fish list for our 6 ft 125. Thanks!

1 powder blue tang
1 one spot foxface
Melanaurus wrasse
Mccocser wrasse
Pair of clowns
4 lyretail anthias
2 blue chromis
1 yellow assessor
1 yellow watchman goby
1 firefish
1 royal gramma

Definitely get the hole in your lid covered so you don't loose the McCoskers too. You have a nice group of fish. I'd get another Lubbock's :)
+1 to this, lubbocks are beautiful. I’d personally recommend getting a Cebu lubbocki and see which you prefer. I love the colours that came out in both of mine, but it’s extremely hard to pick a favourite.
Here’s my two, I don’t really recommend mixing them but it isn’t impossible.

Wife really wants a leopard wrasse. Would the pbt or mellanaurus bully it?

I’d recommend getting a groups of either leopards or Halichoeres (Or both) so aggression isn’t evenly dispearsed. I have 5 wrasses and they all show aggression towards eachother.
Id recommend going with something similar to this;
2-3 Halichoeres (Including the Mel)
2-3 Macropharyngodon (Includong the Blue Star)
3-4 Fairy/Flasher Wrasses

This will spread aggression evenly but also get the mccosker to show some nice colours.
