Hi everyone,

just restarted a new tank after many years of hiatus. But this is a new one for me, Pink Streaked Wrasse and Starry blenny. Both new additions and only tank habitants were out and cautiously exploring before the lights came on.

But after the lights were on, not max brightness. They started to retreat, I gave it about 4 hours before turning lights on. Don't remember this being an issue in the past, could it be the shimmering effect on the sand bothering them?
