8.25 UPDATES. Things are rocking on my little nano, we're almost to the 7 month mark. Still loving this little monster! All fish and coral doing great. My little clown is such a fun fish, and his orange is a great, vibrant, healthy orange. Reef Roids are helping my sun coral grow like crazy and my Acans are happy little things, too. Finally starting to look like a reef!

How are things going?

Crazy good. Loving my little reef more and more every day. My corals are growing like crazy! But I have found MUCH better color and growth when I go with mostly the actinic blue lighting mode over the full-whites that is built into the Ultrabrite LED upgrade I have. Is there science behind this? Or am I fooling myself?

The blue penetrates the water better.

10.5 update. All is well! Seeing awesome life and growth! Especially on my lepto and chalice! It's so cool when you start to see the spread!

(As always- sorry for crap quality on pics. So tough with a phone! Wish you could see the cool colors!)

11.15....Need help with this...my goniastrea coral isn't growing. Since I've added it to my tank, only one new head(?)/pocket(?) area has grown and in about eight months that doesn't seem right. Is this some sort of harmful work growing on it? It sorta looks like a feather-duster...could this be stopping growth?
