Well turns out they are experiencing a shortage at the moment, so I can't order the DCW-70's. Anyone know what the difference is between the ECP and the DCW?

The ECP has no remote control ability via Bluetooth or WIFI like their older pumps. Everything else should be the same.

I purchased the Jecod Jebao DCW-120 on Amazon. Strong flow at the lowest setting in my 4ft tank.

I have the DLW-10 and it blows my fish around more than I would like on the lowest setting. I usually just turn it on for an hour to throw all the detritus that has settled on the bottom into the water collum to be sucked out through the filter. It's great for that but I probably should have gotten the DLW-5 for my Waterbox 25 Peninsula.

Maybe my opinion will improve when I get some torch corals that can actually use that extra water movement.

That's the first I've seen on the "new gen" gyres in the wild. How do you like it? How are the magnets? The flow directors are a nice addition, IMO.

ETA: Now that I looked... The flow directors seem limited to just the larger gyres. :(

The DCW-70 description also says "3D big rotation angle to adjust the output water direction" but the design is different in the picture.

It's been working great for me. No issues. Magnets secure the pump properly and the flow is great (I'm still running it near the lowest setting). Bluetooth connectivity and the flow settings work fine too. And the price is excellent!

Anyone have a Jebao ELW-30 up and running. Just picked up 2 that will be delivered tomorrow. I already have a couple SLW-20s and decided to get the ELW with what seems like a new controller update. Wasn't able to find much information on them on youtube or anywhere else on the controller details.
I’d enjoy hearing about your elw-30 experience.

does anyone know, if DLW version now has the ability to reduce the “max flow” setting on random mode?

For instance: you buy a stronger version than you need from the start (but will need down the road, when corals fill out the tank), and then be able to limit the maximum flow on “random mode” to 70% for example?

I have the jebao gyre, but assuming the app is the same for all jebao wavemakers, which it appears to be, you can lower the random flow setting to a minimum of 30%.

But my experience with an ALW-30 is that the power still goes op to 100% even though you set it to 30% max on the app.

But only in random Mode.
On the other modes, there’s no issue

interesting. maybe jebao has fixed that issue because i run my gyre in random mode at 45% and if it went up to 100%, my coral would be stripped dead. i ran the gyre at around 60% when i first got it and the flow was too much. so if my current setting made the gyre run at anything close to that or more, i would be able to tell.
