Hi Everyone,

I am coming over from the high tech freshwater planted side. I've always wanted a salt tank and finally in the process realizing that dream. I've lurked here for probably two years and finally decided to make an account. Got some marco rocks on order from BRS and building a stand for a 25G Mr. Aqua cube. Hopefully in a few months, I will have my first reef tank up and running.

Won't be doing a build thread as I am pretty bad at documenting progress and updating. In the meantime, here are some pictures of my planted tanks.

Then I moved on to a 20 long and I bought an IM nuvo peninsula 20 thinking I would convert it to reef eventually....

That never happened, so my 20 long is staying planted and here's a recent pic. (Got rid of the cheap panel lighting above)

Welcome! Your planted tank is gorgeous! What are you running light wise? Do you dose?
Both tanks are running Chihiro WRGB2s. I don't really dose, I used to do a couple squirts of liquid fertilizer (Nilocg), but I was getting some excess nutrients. I just rely on the fish load and use some liquid carbon if I see algae forming.
