New guy first question

I use something very similar for my algae turf scrubber and they work fine. I think macro and hair algae do not need expensive lighting. Almost anything bright will do.

I was trying the below but unfortunately had green hair algae outcompete my chateo. Green mess everywhere and decaying chateo rn, not sure why it happened..
