My starfish had an appetite for my Hawaiian Feather duster. I spoke rather harshly to it and don't expect any more bad behavior.

That is only natural for a chocolate chip star to eat pretty much anything in a reef tank. The star is going to have to go, and not reef safe:(

It would be great to see a picture of the tank with the sand.
