So, I now have at least one anemone of all the ones usually found in our hobby. Recently I picked up a magnifica from a local lfs, as for once the past few they have received looked ok, but not great, and so far the 5 of 5 sold are doing well (1-3 months in). None of the 5 have been through cipro either. Well last night I started mine on cipro. All my nems go through it, and knock on wood, have not lost one yet.
I took my 5.5g tank, put the nem it is with the water from the LFS, dripped my tank water for 4 hours into it, and then it began its first dose. It's mouth was a little puckered outwards, but not bad and it has not deflated since moving to the corner of the tank. So hoping for the best.
I just wanted to pop this in here as this is the first magnifica I have had since I moved 5 years ago. Figured would be a nice little log to refer back to and look at pics.
Here is the nem after it settling in and planting it's foot to the glass. So we shall call this Day 0.
