New Hobbyist Learning Lots

Welcome! Sounds like you have the right attitude, and are taking this seriously! There really is an ocean of information in this hobby, and that's honestly why I love it.

Someone definitely steered you to the right community! I highly encourage you to make a build thread. That's a great place to talk about what's happening, get advice, and show off your success!

Welcome to the reef. R2R is such a valuable source. Didn’t have it when I started in the 80’s. Took some time off and when I got back into it 2 years ago, the internet really changed it for me. Almost all searches directed me here, and I have found that the answers I get are generally pretty solid. Still take your time though and don’t always accept the first answer as the right one. What works for one person doesn’t always transfer across. Best of luck with your journey.

Welcome to R2R and the salty world. Take things slowly. Lots of knowledgeable and helpful people here who will support and advise you when needed.
