So for christmas this year my wife acctually was able to surprise me. She is not much in to my fishtanks so for her to do reaserch and acctually listen when i babble about products really Impressed me.
When i opened my presents I was in shock, here is a big package from Aquacave.com. Which contained 3 LG parabolic reflectors, 3 galaxy 250w ballast(electronic), 3 XM 250w 20K bulbs Along side was another big packeage from Bulkreefsupply.com. A 5 stage RO/DI unit. awesome.
So never the less here i am christmas morning modifing my canopy with the new lights lol. Nope couldnt wait hahah here is a few pics.

and a test fit
I will eventually build panels to look like the rest of the canopy and insert high strength magnets so they can be removed for feedings and maintenence instead of a hinge. that way it keeps the clean look for the canopy. The bulbs are sitting at exactly 16" from the water. thinking about lowering it 1 to 2". Input on this would be greatly appreciated. Well i hope you all a very merry christmas. Thanks for looking
