Hello Everyone. I always seen google lead me to this site and I just started my second saltwater tank so I decided to go ahead and join. My recent tank is much larger so I’m sure I’ll have more questions as I start to add things. It’s a 120g with dry rock started in November 2024. I used live sand and it cycled really quickly. Im actually almost done with the ugly stage as well and have been able to get a pod population going without a refugium or sump. I dose pods and phytoplankton though because I just added a mandarin to the tank. I wasn’t planning on doing that so soon but the pods cleaned up the diatoms and when I started adding phytoplankton for them (from Algaebarn) they were all over the tank!
