A few years ago I was really into my fish tanks and my reef, I got too busy and got rid of everything.
I recently decided to have a go at it again, I have a fluvo 10 gallon with the built in filter. The plan for this tank was to have mostly coral with a very small fish or two.
I let my tank cycle through (took about 3 1/2 weeks) and started introducing my coral (zoanthoids) and they have all closed up and are hardly opening! It’s been about 2 weeks and only one is starting to open up! My phosphate and nitrate spiked again like its cycling a second time! Algae has begun to bloom like crazy. I put 2 snails in but by the next day they were dead
I have treated everything That was off and some of my corals seems a bit happier, but they still won’t open all the way! I put more snails in and they seem to be thriving on the mess of algae in my tank. I’m also seeing critters in my live rock which I hadn’t seen since it had finished cycling
My question is are my zoos

dead? And if not how can I get them to open??
Thank you all in advanced [emoji4]

My lighting is a white and blue LED day/night time mode. In my post I said the wrong tank type. It’s a nuovo, the light came with.
Ammonia 0
PH 8.3
Nitrite 1.0
Phosphate 0
Nitrate 10ppm (last week was 20 though)

I got everything stabilized,
Nitrate, nitrate, ammonia and phosphate has been 0 for a while now, ph is 8.3, calcium is 420 but it still hasn’t gotten better!!! It got super cloudy over 26 hours when I went out of town this weekend. I did a water change (75%) and it cleared it up a bit, but it started clouding again! I’m going to do another water change tomorrow
I just don’t know what to do here! I’ve never encountered anything like this!
