I just broke one of my clips today. I didnt know they would replace them.
I thought the clips referred to the bracket. My bad. I broke my bracket. I've broke the clips in the past and they sent me new ones in the past. what I was wondering is if they would send me a new bracket.

On a side note...I've since put black zip ties on all my tunze nano streams that holds the in-tank magnet to the bracket. I haven't had any clips brake since.

I've had the fasteners break where they clip into the magnet, as well as the bracket itself that reaches around the body of the pump. Its been a problem with a lot of people I've encountered. I'm suprised he is refusing to send you replacements.. thanks for the heads up. Enjoy the vortecs!

I had two 6080's and each of their shafts kept seizing up and I had to send them back twice for repair (free, but had to pay shipping). I finally tossed them out and have been doing the MJ Mod thing (now it is really cheap with the mass produced attachments) and I'm happy. I don't see myself buying Tunze pumps again (their Osmolator works great though).

Are the vortechs smaller than the tunze's??? I like how they are wireless. Do you have any pics of them installed? I'm thinking of getting them instead of the 6055's. I was thinking of upgrading to the 6055's cuz it's controllable but don't know how much longer Roger will keep sending me the clips. Oh one more question it says 600-3000gph so can you control how much flow you want the pumps to put out?

I use the Koralia pumps which use a semi-suction cup inside the tank w/ magnet on the outside. 4 diferent sizes, I use 2 #3's for my 120 and they crank. about $50 each. I also have a Turbelle stream using the deco rock, which has a controller allowing several pumps to simulate surges/waves.

the vortechs are smaller in the tank

no pic yet

(tunze 6055) you control how much flow with the power supply or the controller
