So with the new update you now have the ability to create a QUESTION thread, like I am doing right here with this thread. For now I just have it active in this forum and the Reef Discussion Forum but will be enabling it on all the forums as the day goes.

1. You will be able to select if you want to create a Discussion, Poll, or Question type thread. In the image below you will see the options. You will see these options when you go to create a new thread. Again only in limited forums for the time being.

2. If you choose a "Question Thread" you can add whatever text or images to the text box but make sure you ask the question. My question for this thread is at the bottom of this post.

3. Once answers start coming in everyone has the ability to UPVOTE someones answer as seen in the following image. If you agree of course. The voting options are placed under the post on smaller devices like phones and to the right of the post on larger screens.

4. Once an answer has had enough votes it can be selected by the thread author or admin as the best answer or solution to the question by clicking the circled check mark.

5. The answer or solution to the question will then be displayed under the original question.

6. In the "members" section of the website you will be able to see which member has accrued the most solutions or answered the most questions.

Also one final note. In a "question thread" the original first post or question will always be displayed at the top of ever page within that question thread. So if a member clicks to the 5th page, for example, the original question will still remain at the top of that page.

So let's try it out!

Here is the question:

What is the best beginner fish for a new saltwater aquarium owner?

Looks like those on mobile site can also sort the thread by highest vote or time posted which is neat
