+1 for the Green Star Polyps.... and Absolutely +1 for the isolated rock...sounds indeed like you have doing you home work!
my number one tip would be to go just a little bit slower than you think you have to. Measure twice cut once.
A good first coral if you don’t have the lights you eventually want might be some green star polyp on an isolated rock or some nice unnamed Zoas
Best of luck
awesome! put in a join requestnot too far, but not very close either. im about 45 minutes away
Thanks! Going to uprated the light relatively soon. Just dropped a decent amount of money already so want to wait a bit haha.Welcome!! You got a great little tank off to a great start! It's very difficult to stare at an empty tank but remember patience is key, so don't rush your tank cycle. Great beginner Corals are zoas, Mushrooms (yumas are my favorite because you can watch them eat and they're bright and colorful), Duncans, and Acans. Stock light will support all these as well. I used to have the Fluval Evo 5g.
Yes I have that!Hello and welcome. Did you have a heater and controller on that list?
I am considering first coral. I have mostly settled on zoanthids for several reasons.
From the hundreds of videos I've watched I've gotten thr impression as long as your on top of things it's relatively easy. However I've also got impression you can make it as difficult as you want haha.did you really say that reef tanks are easy? lolololol
welcome to the party, you're going to have some fun here.
