Hi all,

I’m setting up a Red Sea Reefer 350 G2+ (came with all the equipment). My current tank is a 20g Innovative Marine with mostly zoas and mushrooms. I only dose kalkwasser and plan to do the same on the new system.

Plan is to transfer my zoa-covered rock from the 20g into the new tank along with some fresh rock — hoping for an instant cycle. If that’s a bad idea, please let me know.

I’ll be running bare-bottom with starboard on the glass. Should that be sealed down or just left as is?

Appreciate any advice!
