Good read! I have a better understanding of what to do. Gives me some insight on what good looks like. Funny how people strive for perfect conditions but having a dirtier tank is not all bad. Also, my flow is about X16 so I will be increasing it. I ordered a Gyro power head last week. It comes today.

Water changes are done for many reasons. Some people do lots of them and some do none. There is no one way that's perfect.

I personally would do water changes regardless of nutrient levels.
