Welcome to Reef2Reef!!

I'm not selling any Hanna checkers but I can say they are amazing and worth the money for sure! Hopefully you find some good deals.

Welcome!

I use Hanna for dKH and phos. I bought a pocket Icecap salinity checker and a similar pH checker. If you’re using a monitoring system/controller that’s obviously completely unnecessary. I use salifert kits for calcium and magnesium.

One note on the hanna checkers I learned the hard way. Once you open the liquid reagents they’re only good for 30 days. I was using expired reagents, wondering why my alkalinity was always low. I even started dosing sodium bicarbonate to raise it only to read a thread about the 30 day thing. I still like Hanna but for already expensive checkers this seems like a money making thing and was super frustrating. Granted, I caught it in time so had no I’ll effects but figured I would share to hopefully spare somebody else.

Welcome! The most generally useful hanna testers are probably the ULR phosphate checker and the high range nitrate tester if not keeping stony corals yet. If you are their alk checker is also great. Mixed reviews on their calcium tester
