Hi I'm new to the group and a definite aquarium Junkie. I have several African cichlid tanks and have a relatively new nano reef tank. I have come to this site several times for advice already but decided I better join. Super excited to be here and looking forward to all of your great posts

There was a great tip shared here on R2R recently on how to keep your pulsing Xenia in check.
By wrapping a rubber band around a metal/aluminum, reusable straw, you create a gasket that will plug into your water change hose. So, as you do your water change with it, you can scrape the encroaching Xenia off the rock with the metal/aluminum straw, suck them up as you go, and keep it contained to the area you want. That way, it won’t take over the whole tank.
