Hello everybody! My names Dean, I am 26 years old and I live in SE Michigan.

I recently purchased a 20 gallon tank after years of wanting to get into maintaining a saltwater tank. I've had freshwater tanks before and this is my first time owning a saltwater. I couldn't be more excited!

This is kind of a starting phase for me. I intend to eventually go bigger into a ~120 gallon tank but this I feel will be a good start to see how I can maintain a smaller system before going all out. I'd like to eventually add: 2 chromi's, and a clown, with some turbo snails and a green emerald crab.

I purchased a tank that was established for ~1 month from a friend of mine, it came with a single damselfish, about 20 lbs of live rock, a powerhead, and a heater. Since owning the tank I've picked up a filter, protein skimmer and another powerhead for the other side of the tank. I've had the tank about 4 days now, and have just completed my first testing kit. If you're interested, my testing questions are in my recent activity and I would love some advice on where to go. But anyways, here's some crappy iPhone quality pictures of my first tank!
