So i set up a 75 gal tank a week and a half ago, and I am confused about the cycling of the tank. It looks like stuff is growing on the rocks and the heats and the sides of the tank. Should go get a "clean up crew" or is it to soon?

Have you checked for ammonia, nirites, or nitrates? If ammonia is present its still to early. How did you cycle the tank? Live rock or dead rock? Live sand or dry. Each have some different cycle times :)

I have not checked anything yet. I have live rock and live sand in the tank.

IMO ... little early for your CUC. I would start testing your parameters.

Welcome to R2R! Definitely check your ammonia and nitrite levels before you add anything.
