Hey guys!

I'm a marine biology student from Southern California. I am already a huge tank nerd, working in husbandry at two different aquariums but with mostly temperate organisms.

I just joined this forum because I am starting to gather equipment for a new 120 gal reef tank. I have lots of experience maintaining systems and have had a bunch of fish knowledge but I am starting inverts and corals from square one.

I am looking at skimmers, my sump only has an 8" by 12" spot so I was looking at the Reef Octopus Classic 150 Space Saver. I know it fits technically but will that be enough space?

Excited to join this community!
