Hey all. Just picked up a new gold torch. It’s in QT now. I’m seeing some tiny brown/reddish things on the skeleton. Not sure if it’s bad or just algae of some sort. I’m new to observing for pests and not sure what I’m seeing a lot of the time. Thanks in advance.

Foraminifera. Basically they eat bacteria and are harmless. Common on Euphyllia.
Thanks for the information. I was wondering what these are, and after looking at Google I am thinking these are something else?

Google “forams” or “foraminifera reef tank” @Hemmdog knows these as well. I have so many in my tank. Some even came on my live rock. I believe they are sessile, so lesser of a concern.
