I just wanted to say WOW! These magnets are amazing! I have always used the mag float magnets, and decided to treat myself and get a Tunze. OMG y’all, I just love it and highly recommend it.

Be careful with the razor blade that comes with it. I just used mine for the first time to clean some coralline around the edges and it left some really fine scratches.
The plastic blade works great for general cleaning though.

Thanks , yeah the plastic is what I used

I went back to mag float. It strains my fingers when gripping the narrow body of the Tunze magnets. Also that felt pad came unstuck after a few weeks of used.

The one I got is definitely not narrow . In fact quite the opposite. At Bulk Reef Supply it is called Tunze care magnet strong 0222.020

Seems tunze changed their algae scraper from the thin long handled design.
The larger models comes with the Boost now.

I hate to say it but those super strong “ shark” magnets or whatever will eventually scratch your glass if not very careful…
Strong second on those Tunze’s. luv em
