New wavemaker, too much flow??

Hi all, just got myself a new wavemaker as wanted to change the nero 3 out for a gyre but chuff me this thing is powerful! Have it sat at 36% sinewave at the moment and worried that this is still too much flow!

It is a new tank set up but hoping to eventually get hammers, torches etc

Difficult to tell, you really don’t have anything in there that moves with the flow. Your chromis doesn’t look like it’s struggling. Do you have any Reef Energy AB+ you could toss in so we could get a better idea of the flow?

There is nothing wavy in the tank to judge the flow, but surface agitation looks good and no sand blowing around so thats good too, it looks like a good start

Just did another vid of my Ricordea coral. It has bunched up a little but that may just be because i have opened the lid!

To me it looks fine, my rics get a lot of flow. Its a good start, flow needs will change over time as you add corals and they grow, flow is not a 'set it and forget it' kind of thing
