Hi. I am new here. Have had a small salt water rank 75 gallons for a few years. Just recently added an anemone. The store said it was a bubble but it looks like a carpet. Can someone help? It was put in tank 2 days ago and is just now opening

Welcome to R2R! Did it look like that from the store or did that happen over a couple days?

It closed when they took it out of tank so idk. They told me it was bubble
Welcome to the hobby! I think indeed this is a Carpet anemone and not a BTA. If it is a BTA it is not looking good at all 😂 Show us a pic when it opens up

The pic is of it opened up. Which leads me to my next question. Someone said maybe he was upside down. Would the bottom inflate and go in when the lights are shut off? Like the foot and bottom of it inflate like the top does? I don’t want to try to flip it and stress it more if it stands any change of surviving at all
