Hi, I’m new, from Australia and learning all about plumbing for my aquariums. I keep Axolotls which aren’t reef or even fish but the tank systems and equipment I need are similar to marine.
Welcome Kaida,
Those are some strange creatures
Shoot us your questions, we are all plumbers here

They are weirdos but also beautiful, fussy and funny.
I did a post in the DIY forum board, I need to plumb two tanks together. I’ve plumbed in a canister and chiller but the two tanks is a whole new ballgame.

How big are the Axolotls?
Are the tanks at the same height or is one a sump to the other?
