Does anyone have this light? I have super cheap light and it’s nice but I’m looking for my first big boy upgrade!

I have a smatfarm light and wanted to know will there be a difference in color?

My main two reasons for wanting a new light is . Better color!!!!! I want to pull cool color and control abilities!!! I want a full spectrum part of my reef tank I want a blue part and I want a wind down (my current light doesn’t do this)

I have the 200 and couldnt be happier with it. I got it about 6mo ago when my gen1 AI64 finally bit the dust. Make sure you get the controller for the light so you can do custom light channels and schedules.

You can do a search on the web and get this information. It is being discussed on another forum. Search on Nicrew HyperReef 200W and it should come up. It was compared to the Radion G6.

Any pics or videos of the tank? Does the corals color pop?

I just saw and I’m almost 100% sure I’m getting this light. It almost is a no brainer I am a bit worried about if it’s to purple by some of the pics I see but it could just be the setting on the tanks I see

I have photos but they wont show much as im not good a taking them. Yes, the corals pop in the evening when i have the light set to run heavy on the blue. during the day i run more on the white to give it a more natural look.

Not the best pics

Nooo this is exactly what I was looking for!!! Everyone who i saw online tank looked purple. But your tank actually looks blue!! Okay im getting it lol. How is the color on your corals now?
They like the light. The red monti has doubled in size since swapping. I know some will say, eh no biggie, its a red monti. But for me, ive never had any luck with them, so im happy.

I have 5 of these over two tanks. They are good for the price point. Spend the extra money and get the controller dongle for the $50. It will make the experience way better and you can tune the color to what you want.

You have a picture ? Do you notice your corals look better to the eye?

I just bought these lights and so far they look great. Im coming from MH and starting a new tank so cant comment on growth yet. But the color spectrum is very nice. Kind of reminds me of old school 250w radiums with the magnetic bluewave ballast.

Thanks my guy ! I’m not to concerned with growth as long as my corals are healthy which is something most lights can do atleast. My main thing was color and control ability. What’s your light settings like?
