Hi all just got my Nicrew 200 watt gen 2 reef light in and not many people have a shade for it. Does anyone have a file for a shade so I’m not blinded. Preferably one that flares outward so it doesn’t block the spread. If it’s not flared my friend who is gonna help me print it might be able to edit it

I don’t mind paying for a file or the actual print but I’d really like it to flare outward the only person I saw online printing them had it coming straight down

I haven't found an STL either. I'm going to make one and happy to share!
That would be amazing thank you so much!! I was also thinking it would be great if there was a ledge 1/2 or 1/4 inch under where the pucks are for an acrylic defuser.

In between the light and the shade could be a ledge for a acrylic diffuser probably would only need it on the long sides and I don’t see vents on other defuser lights out there but when the nicrew gets warm it’s fan isn’t as quite as others out there

I was bummed at the lack of any free STLs for the gen2 light, so I designed my own to share. I have it posted on Thingiverse, both a full one and a split version for printers with beds less then 350mm HyperReef 200 gen2 lightshade
You rock! I have not had a chance to even think about it. I bought the rail and hanging kit, and that's been sitting for 2 weeks now to.

hi, i'm behind you in this process. i just got the nicrew 150s. thanks for file, i'll try to edit it to fit the 150s. question, the photo of your lights, what aluminum is that, and did you pring the corner brace. these included arms with the nicrew are not great. the sets screws all stripped out on me on first use. i also don't love them hanging on the glass.
