Hello guys, I am a reef keeper enthusiast, I'm from Guatemala Central America and I'm on vacations over the New Jersey and New York areas for this week, I wanted to check what aquarium shops or places would any of you recomend to visit.

in north jersey absolutely fish in Clifton. that's my lfs. staten island has poto also not that far of a drive.

Welcome! If you're in Manhattan and can make it out to Nassau County there's a really good shop in Albertson. A couple of minutes from the Grand Central/Northern State Pkwy., so it's easy if coming from Manhattan. Advanced Marine Aquatics is one of the best shops out this way. As a matter of fact there are three shops within minutes of each other.

Sorry to say but NYC lacks a decent LFS...

Manhattan aquariums is basically the only LFS in Manhattan...it’s meh...

I’d take advice from members outside the city if you can drive around.

Northish NJ Reefco in Green Brook; nice clean shop, only open on weekends. Check out Billy Pipes youtube video on it, gorgeous stuff.
