Hello guys, I am a reef keeper enthusiast, I'm from Guatemala Central America and I'm on vacations over the New Jersey and New York areas for this week, I wanted to check what aquarium shops or places would any of you recomend to visit.

Thanks

Welcome to R2R!!! I’m sure others from the NY/NJ area will jump in soon. You may also want to check out the reef club portion of this forum.

Welcome! If you're in Manhattan and can make it out to Nassau County there's a really good shop in Albertson. A couple of minutes from the Grand Central/Northern State Pkwy., so it's easy if coming from Manhattan. Advanced Marine Aquatics is one of the best shops out this way. As a matter of fact there are three shops within minutes of each other.

Advanced Marine Aquatics
1335, 1083 Willis Ave, Albertson, NY 11507

Pets Warehouse
177 Glen Cove Rd, Carle Place, NY 11514

Aquarium Village
461 Old Country Rd, Westbury, NY 11590

Welcome home, you will love it here!

Tell us about your tanks/plans?

Enjoy your time in the states as well! :)

Welcome to the United States! I hope you have a wonderful time here. I cannot give you recommendations, but I'm thrilled you want to visit. Be sure to keep in touch with us. We would love to know about your tank.

Welcome to R2R!

Sorry to say but NYC lacks a decent LFS...

Manhattan aquariums is basically the only LFS in Manhattan...it’s meh...

I’d take advice from members outside the city if you can drive around.

Enjoy your stay!
