I am sure Rev gets a fairly large number of pms a day, and sometimes it does take a little bit for him to reply to them all. If it has been awhile you can always try shooting him another pm and than just give it some time ;)

I have seen him very active here, he probably is just tied up with other stuff at the moment. Just be patient

Well..for me and Wikipedia, ASAP means As soon as possible...

and I doubt he hasn´t have time since 9 days to reply a simple pm... I just create a thread because I have no other way to contact him..no email, no twitter, no skype..only PM.
