I’ve had my Orange Strip Goby in my reef for the last year or so and he is completely nocturnal. During the day (lights on) he does not come out even when feeding. If I shine a light in the tank st night there he is in front of everything just hanging out. I have a very healthy pod population so I’m assuming he is fending for himself. Just curious if this is normal for this species. My tank isn’t crowded and I have yet to see a bully. I’m not really worried about it but just wondering if this is normal.

Tankmates include
PBT 3’
Domino clown (clowns were just added last month, goby has done this since new)
Snowflake clown
Cleaner shrimp
